Balustrade glass tests
We continue our series of tests of the strength of glass used in QUASPE systems! This is the second of five films. This time we focused on checking how the glass used in balustrades behaves in extreme situations. For testing, we used, among others: a pendulum, a ball weighing one kilogram, a paving stone, a chair and a classic hammer. Each of these items was intended to test the resistance of glass to various types of impacts – from everyday accidents to really solid strength tests.
Glass, which seems delicate and fragile in everyday life, turns out to be exceptionally resistant and safe in the appropriate aluminium system. This confirms that the selection of appropriate materials and precision of workmanship are crucial for the durability and functionality of the entire structure.
We invite you to watch the video and see how our balustrades cope with extreme challenges!
