The project for JAZ-BUD included a wide range of Classic Cover system balustrades, which became a key visual element of the façade. Two types of fascia panels were used in the aluminium and glass balustrades (Białystok) – Stacbond STB-401 and Scalamid N 909 fibre-cement board – in both cases, the upper balustrade infill was VSG 44.2 double-sided graphite glass. The space between the balcony slab and the balustrade is complemented by a system drip cap, creating an aesthetic finish. The project was complemented by balcony partitions with clear glass laminated with MilkyWhite interlayer. The project was carried out in two stages, installing over 2, 800 linear metres of balustrades and 677 m² of partitions.
The project uses safe glass in the balustrades – double-sided graphite VSG 44.2. Structures in RAL 7016 MAT ensure durability and aesthetics typical for balustrade installation in Białystok.
Aluminium offers resistance and flexibility, which is why the balustrade manufacturer QUASPE recommends it in residential buildings, where the aesthetics of modern balcony balustrades and high quality of local implementations in Białystok are important.
