FAQ – Frequently asked questions
1. What is the lead time?
The lead time is set individually because it depends on several factors: the ordered system type, whether raw or powder-coated profiles are purchased, and whether prefabricated elements or full-length profiles are purchased. The assumed lead times are: raw profiles – 2 weeks, powder-coated profiles – 4 weeks, prefabricated profiles – 6 weeks, and a system order including glass – 8 weeks. The final lead time is always confirmed individually. Contact us for more details.
2. How to place an order?
After an initial conversation and after the client sends a completed inquiry form, we prepare an initial calculation based on the information provided. Once cooperation is confirmed, we refine the scope of the offer, sign the order and immediately begin execution. Each stage is handled transparently and in line with the arrangements.
3. What should you know when submitting an inquiry about a canopy system?
To prepare an accurate quote, please provide:
• canopy dimensions (width × depth × height),
• type and colour of the infill,
• information on whether the elements are to be raw or powder-coated, and in which colour,
• the water drainage method (system gutter or drip edge),
• whether a sliding enclosure should also be quoted with the canopy,
• the postal code and town where installation is planned, which is needed to determine the snow load zone.
If you have any doubts about any of the points, please contact us.
We will be happy to advise and help you choose the best solutions.

• for larger projects: the building design or a balustrade schedule for pricing,
• regardless of scale: the section of the solution to be priced, with sample models available in our balustrade catalogue,
• whether the profiles are to be raw or powder-coated; in this case the RAL colour must be provided,
• type and colour of the infill,

• whether the profiles are to be prefabricated or purchased in full bars,
• lower track finish: raw / black anodised / grey anodised,
• glass colour if a complete enclosure is purchased,
• planned number of tracks, to be confirmed in the prepared offer due to technical assumptions regarding glass dimensions or technological limitations such as the minimum glass profile width,
• opening direction: to one side / to two sides, and panel movement: individually / together,
• whether the enclosure should be lockable: locking in the glass profile or in the glass pane, with or without a key,
• whether glass handles should be included in the quote.
To prepare an offer for a fixed enclosure, please provide the following information:
• enclosure dimensions (width and height),
• structure colour if the profiles are to be powder-coated,
• whether the profiles are to be prefabricated or purchased in full bars,
• type, colour and thickness of the infill.

6. Is there a fee for preparing a quotation?
No, the quote is completely free. After determining the scope of the offer, preparing a detailed quote usually takes about 5 business days.
7. Do glass and aluminium require any protective treatment?
No, glass and aluminium do not require any protective treatment before or after installation. No specialised agents are needed to clean them – standard care is enough for the system to maintain its aesthetic appearance and durability for many years.
8. How should aluminium components be cleaned?
No special preparations are needed to clean aluminium balustrade elements. All you need is a soft, damp cloth with a gentle detergent, e.g. dishwashing liquid. Avoid agents containing abrasive fractions that could scratch the painted surface.
9. What infill thickness are QUASPE systems suitable for?
• Balustrade system: 8, 10 mm, • Canopy system: 8, 10, 16, 25 mm, • Fixed enclosure system: 4, 6, 8 mm, • Sliding enclosure system: 8, 10 mm. Each system is designed to ensure safety and stability with the appropriate glass thickness.
