Project at ul. Łąkowa in Białystok is an extensive project implemented over the course of almost a year, from May 2024 to March 2025. The scope of work included the delivery and installation of balcony balustrades in several variants, balcony partitions and canopies on brackets over the balconies of the top floor. The entire structure was designed with a uniform character of architecture and a high standard of finishing in mind, corresponding to the scale and prestige of the project carried out by Kombinat Budowlany.
The dominant solution used in this project was the Supreme balustrade, which became the main visual element of the façade. Its structure was made of aluminium profiles powder-coated in RAL 7016 MAT, and the infills were selected in a way that emphasized the lightness and modern character of the building. The upper parts of the balustrades were filled with clear 44.2 VSG glass, while the lower infill was made of clear 44.2 VSG/ESG glass, powder-coated in RAL 7006.
The balustrades were complemented by Top Glass and Attic Glass, also made of aluminium structure powder-coated in RAL 7016 MAT, with clear 44.2 VSG glass infill. The use of three balustrade models allowed us to precisely tailor the solutions to individual zones of the building, while maintaining full aesthetic consistency.
Balcony partitions and canopies on cantilevers deserve special attention. The partitions were made of clear 44.2 VSG/ESG glass powder-coated in RAL 7006, while the enclosure was made of profiles of the QUASPE fixed glass enclosure system powder-coated in RAL 7016 MAT. A similar colour combination was used in balcony canopies, filled with clear 55.2 VSG/ESG glass powder-coated in RAL 7006.
The solution that distinguishes this project from most similar projects is the way of finishing the front of the balcony slabs. Instead of the most popular fascia panels made of composite panels, covers made of VSG/ESG glass powder-coated in RAL 7006 were used. The same colour of glass appears consistently in balcony partitions and canopies on brackets, which gives the entire facility a distinctive and elegant character.
