In the housing estate at ul. Pomorska, fixed enclosures were built in the form of balcony partitions, constituting an integral element of the project covering several stages, during which many buildings were built. The solution ensured an aesthetic and durable separation of space on the balcony slab.
The partitions were made based on the QUASPE system – a manufacturer of fixed glass enclosures. Supporting profiles 48×20×2 mm were used horizontally, to which “U” glass profiles were screwed. In the case of the described project, aluminium profiles 50×30×2 mm were used vertically, connected to the supporting profile with self-drilling screws 4.8×25 mm. The infill was VSG 44.2 double-sided graphite glass with MilkyWhite interlayer. The enclosure profiles were powder-coated in RAL 7016 MAT, often chosen in modern housing estates in Białystok.
