Project at ul. Miodowa in Augustów is an example of the use of system solutions that work not only in single-family buildings, but also in multi-family buildings. The scope of work included terrace canopies on the top floors as well as balustrades, Juliet balcony balustrades and balcony partitions, creating a coherent architectural finish of the entire facility.
The terrace canopies in Augustów were made of aluminium structure powder-coated in RAL 7039 MAT. The infill was 44.2 VSG/ESG clear glass with MilkyWhite interlayer, providing protection against weather conditions and at the same time access to natural light. 110 mm rafters were used, extending beyond the outline of the balcony slabs, which allowed water to flow freely without the need to install an additional drainage system. A characteristic element of the project was the corner canopy, made using a system corner rafter.
