The project in Białystok included the construction of a modern canopy for a terrace next to a semi-detached building. The project was created in stages, which allowed the enclosure to be precisely tailored to the project schedule and the investor’s expectations. The terrace canopy in Białystok not only serves a protective function, but also constitutes an expressive element of the architecture of the backyard area.
The terrace canopy in Białystok was based on three 70 x 70 mm aluminium posts with an upper beam to which 110 mm system rafters were fitted. The structure profiles were powder-coated in RAL 7024 MAT. The infill was 55.2 VSG/ESG glass, graphite on one side, providing protection against precipitation. Water drainage was solved with a system gutter and a downpipe connected to the external drainage system. The character of the project is emphasised by aluminium slats in oak 1 D1P1 wood-effect finish, made from 80 x 40 x 2 mm profiles.
Well-designed terrace canopies in Białystok increase the functionality of recreation space in modern housing estates and influence the aesthetics of the entire property.
