The project for the Kuchnia Vikinga company included the construction of a large terrace canopy at the investor’s headquarters in Białystok. The structure with an area exceeding 70 m² was designed for intensive use and consistency with the architecture of the facility. The terrace canopy has a representative and functional function, creating a comfortable outdoor space throughout the season.
The terrace canopy in Białystok was made using the QUASPE canopy system. The solution consisted of aluminium profiles powder-coated in RAL 7016 MAT. The infill was 44.2 VSG/ESG glass, graphite on one side, selected for sun protection and aesthetics. The dimensions of the canopy and the snow zone of the installation determined the choice of rafters with a height of 160 mm. Due to the dimensions of the glass, it was decided to use a system mullion. Water drainage was provided by a system gutter attached to the post beam and downpipes.
