In Dobrzyniewo, we built a terrace canopy for a private investor, designed with everyday comfort and resistance to changing weather conditions in mind. The solutions used function as a practical extension of the relaxation area, protecting the terrace against rainfall and excessive sunlight, while maintaining the modern character of the building.
The terrace canopy in Dobrzyniewo was made based on QUASPE system profiles, powder-coated in RAL 7016 MAT. The infill is made of clear 44.2 VSG/ESG glass with matt interlayer, which ensures the right balance between light access and a sense of privacy. The analysis of the dimensions of the structure and the snow zone determined the use of rafters with a height of 160 mm. Large panes of glass were divided using a system mullion. Water drainage was solved through a system gutter attached to the post beam combined with a downpipe.
A well-designed terrace canopy in Dobrzyniewo significantly increases the functionality of the outdoor space and allows you to use it for most of the year. Terrace canopies are a solution that works both in single-family buildings and in projects in Dobrzyniewo carried out in modern housing estates, where durability, aesthetics and consistency with the architecture of the building are important.
