In Kleosin, a terrace canopy was built, which turned the home garden into a comfortable, year-round space. The project combined the lightness of glass with a solid aluminium structure, and the whole was enriched with a functional sliding enclosure.
An upper beam was fixed to three system aluminium posts measuring 70 x 70 mm and connected with 110 mm system rafters. The structure was made from profiles powder-coated in RAL 7016 MAT, with clear VSG/ESG 44.2 glass used as the infill. Water drainage was solved with a system gutter hidden in the canopy line and a downpipe routed along the post. The whole is complemented by a frameless sliding glass enclosure, made from aluminium profiles combined with clear ESG 10 mm glass, allowing the terrace to be enclosed and used regardless of weather conditions.
Canopy terraces in Kleosin is a way to obtain additional usable space. Thanks to the combination of glass and aluminium, the terrace canopy protects against rain and wind, and at the same time does not shade the garden. Such solutions fit perfectly into the character of modern Kleosina housing estates, offering residents comfort and greater freedom of arrangement.
