Terrace canopies were made for Danwood in Sielc, increasing the comfort of using the outdoor space regardless of the weather. The structures were adapted to the architecture of the buildings, using the full system capabilities.
The canopies are made of aluminium profiles for QUASPE canopies, powder-coated in RAL 7021 MAT. Each structure was supported on four columns at the façade and four at the post beam, which ensured stability for larger spans. 160 mm rafters and 44.2 VSG/ESG clear glass were used as the infill. Water is drained through the system gutter and downpipe. Due to the depth of the canopy, it was decided to use system muntins, dividing the glass pane into two panes with smaller surfaces.
Terrace canopies in Sielc are a solution that increases the functionality of terraces, protects against precipitation, and at the same time emphasises the modern character of the buildings. Thanks to the use of tempered and laminated glass and system profiles, the terrace canopy is durable, elegant and easy to maintain.
