In the project carried out for AMConstruction, QUASPE fixed profiles were used to make balcony partitions. The RAL 7016 MAT coloured enclosure was filled with 44.2 VSG glass with matt interlayer to obtain a translucent effect ensuring privacy for the residents. The fixed enclosures were complemented by Classic balustrades installed in parallel, thanks to which the whole creates a coherent composition that fits into the standard of modern housing estates in Warsaw.
The balcony partition consists of horizontal load-bearing profiles 48×20×2 mm to which “U” glass profiles are screwed. In the case of the described project, aluminium profiles 50×30×2 mm were used vertically, connected to the supporting profile with self-drilling screws 4.8×25 mm. The entire structure is filled with 44.2 VSG safety glass with matt interlayer, which guarantees durability and an aesthetic finish.
Balcony partitions, which are part of the fixed glass enclosure system, are solutions enabling the separation of space for individual premises with a common balcony slab. Aluminium combined with glass allows it to easily adapt to the architecture of the building. The manufacturer of fixed enclosures, QUASPE, recommends them to investors looking for durable, elegant solutions that work well in large projects in Warsaw.
