Glass tests in terrace canopies
A new episode of our glass test series is now available on the QUASPE YouTube channel! This time we moved to the terrace, where we tested the glass used in aluminium canopies. Its purpose is to protect against rain, snow or falling objects – that is why it is so important that its durability leaves no doubt.
Together with one of the strongest Poles, Marek Czajkowski, we carried out a series of spectacular strength tests that showed no mercy to our structures. We checked how the glass behaves under the load of accumulated snow, dropped concrete blocks, sandbags and even… a television.
But that’s not all! For comparison, we also checked polycarbonate, which is often chosen for canopy as a seemingly cheaper alternative. The results speak for themselves – glass is much better not only in terms of resistance, but also aesthetics and durability.
For us, such tests are more than a show of strength – they are proof of responsibility for the product that reaches customers. We want each QUASPE aluminium and glass system to be not only beautiful, but above all safe and reliable for many years of use.
